EIA Open Data is an iOS app for browsing data provided by the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) free and open data API.

• Access a wide range of energy data covering production, stocks, demand, imports, exports and prices.
• Search over 1,000,000 data sets provided by the U.S. Energy Information Administration.
• Use favorites to keep tabs, or share data sets as comma-separated values (CSV) for analysis in external apps.

Browse the latest energy projections and data sets provided by the EIA, including:

Annual Energy Outlook – Long term forecasts (25 years) of U.S. energy production, consumption, and trade for electricity, petroleum, natural gas, coal, nuclear, and renewable sources.

CO2 Emissions – Energy-related carbon dioxide emissions measured in tons of CO2 and tons of carbon dioxide.

Coal – Aggregate national, state, and mine-level coal production statistics, including imports and exports, reciepts of coal at electric power plants, consumption and quality, market sales, reserves, and productive capacity.

Crude Oil Imports – Aggregate national, PADD, state, city, port, and refinery petroleum imports data for various grades of crude oil and country of origin.

Electricity – Aggregate national, state, and plant-level electricity generation statistics, including fuel quality and consumption.

International Energy Data – Production, reserves, consumption, capacity, storage, imports, exports, and emissions time series by country for electricity, petroleum, natural gas.

Natural Gas – Statistics of U.S. natural gas production, imports, exploration, pipelines, exports, prices, consumption, stocks, and reserves.

Petroleum and Other Liquid Fuels – Statistics of U.S. petroleum and other liquid fuel production, imports, refining, exports, prices, consumption, stocks, and reserves.

Short-Term Energy Outlook – Monthly report with forecasts and history of energy production, consumption, and trade for electricity, petroleum, natural gas, coal, nuclear, and renewable sources.

State Energy Data System (SEDS) – State and national energy production and consumption, using survey and estimates to create comprehensive state energy statistics and flows.

Total Energy – U.S. total energy production, prices, carbon dioxide emissions, and consumption of energy from all sources by sector.

U.S. Electric System Operating Data – Hourly electricity operating data, including actual and forecast demand, net generation, and the power flowing between electric systems.
